The studio is at 1502 Sawyer St #108, inside the Silos at Sawyer Yards in Houston. It has controlled lighting and a range of backdrops, which is what keeps a set of headshots consistent when several people are photographed on the same day.
When the picture needs your own surroundings, an office, a workshop, a stage, we photograph on location instead and bring the lighting to you.
What a session includes
Headshot sessions start at $120 and additional images are $30 each.
If you want more range in one sitting, the Build Your Own session starts at $190 and lets you mix headshots with other looks, with hair and makeup available as a $175 add-on.
Getting a headshot you will actually use
Most people arrive unsure what to wear or how to stand, which is normal and is the photographer’s job to solve. Bring two or three tops in solid colours that fit well, favour necklines you wear often, and keep patterns simple so the eye goes to your face. Direction on posture and expression comes during the session, so you are not left guessing.
