As the year wraps up and 2021 comes to a close, Ashkan Image has so much to be grateful for from the last year. We were privileged to photograph so many incredible, talented men and women and capture them doing what they love. From members of the U.S. Olympic gymnastics team to prolific dancers from all over the country, we had some truly memorable and amazing photography sessions, mostly shot right here in our beloved state-of-the-art studio in Houston, TX. As we continue to grow and expand in our creative projects and endeavors, a more spacious studio with additional capabilities has been something we have been dreaming of, and we are so excited to announce it is finally happening! We are SO excited about finally having an infinity wall! If you are unfamiliar with what an infinity wall is, we can sum it up by saying that it is a total game-changer and easily takes any photo or video project up several notches. An infinity wall is a curved surface that blends the floor and wall together flawlessly so that you cannot tell where anything in the background begins or ends. As the name suggests, this creates the illusion of infinite space. Thanks to the lack of angles, shadows don’t appear in the background the way they would on a regular background, providing photographers with an array of creative options they would not have otherwise. An infinity wall or infinity cove is quite an investment, even if you DIY one, as it takes a great deal of time and planning.
